Paruroctonus boreus, commonly known as the Northern Scorpion, is a small scorpion species native to the northern regions of the United States and southern Canada. These scorpions are well adapted to cooler climates and are known for their hardiness and ease of care, making them suitable for beginner scorpion keepers. Adult Northern Scorpions typically reach a length of 2 to 3 inches. With proper care, Paruroctonus boreus can live for 5 to 7 years in captivity.
